Birth Doula Services

As your birth doula, I provide continuous physical, emotional, and informational support throughout your pregnancy and birth journey. My goal is to empower you to make informed decisions and to help create a positive and memorable birth experience.

What's Included:

  • Prenatal Visits: We’ll meet several times before your due date to discuss your birth preferences, practice comfort measures, and create a personalized birth plan.
  • Labor Support: I’ll be with you during active labor, offering comfort techniques such as massage, positioning, and breathing exercises, along with emotional support for you and your partner.
  • Immediate Postpartum Support: After your baby is born, I’ll stay with you to help with initial breastfeeding and ensure you're settled and comfortable.

Postpartum Doula Services

Adjusting to life with a newborn can be overwhelming. As your postpartum doula, I’ll provide hands-on support to help you transition smoothly into parenthood.

  Dogwood Doula’s Guide to: How to Get a Referral for Doula Care with Tricare  If you are a Tricare beneficiary and want to access doula care, follow these simple steps to secure a referral and start your journey toward supported, confident birthing care. Step 1: Confirm Your Eligibility Plan Type : Ensure you are enrolled in Tricare Prime or Tricare Select. Active duty members require a referral regardless of network status. Delivery Location : Referrals are only valid for deliveries outside of Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs). MTF births are not covered under the current program.  *WOMACK AMC is an MTF. Only those planning to give birth off post are eligible for doula services.
